Bass/Synth Bass

Whether you realize it or not, a great bass line is one of the most important elements to having a great song. From old Motown and Funk tunes to current Pop and R&B tracks, a great bass line is what has made a hit song a hit song for years. Zachariah doesn’t just play good bass notes. If you want a great bass line for your next hit song, look no further. I pride myself in writing melodically unique and rhythmically pleasing bass lines for any genre.

I am available for both studio sessions and remote session work. I also teach in person and FaceTime lessons.

Songwriting

What are some of your favorite lyrics? Why have they stuck with you for so long? People often hum along to a recognizable tune but there is very something special about being able to truly and deeply relate to a story someone else has written. Writing a good song is like writing a well known story over again but saying it in your very own unique style. I want to work with you to take the great idea you already have and make it a great storyline that everyone can sing along to like it is their own story.

Production

Teamwork makes the dream work. Maybe you already have a great song written but aren’t fully satisfied with the arrangement. Maybe you have a good arrangement and melody but you’re wanting to hear different chords and aren’t sure which ones will work. Maybe you have all of those things but need the finishing touches like fuller drum programming, more current sounding synths or just a bit of an overall lift. As producer I will work with you from any point in the song making process and bring the image you see when writing a song to life in the audial world.

You need tracks and I love making them. Lets make some music!

I have been blessed to record with so many different artists over the years of my time in Nashville. Some in person sessions and some remote sessions from my home recording studio.

I enjoy playing many different genres of music and strive to be my authentic self in every opportunity I get as well as serve the song/artist/producer in what they need.

This playlist is a great mix of the music I have been able to be a part of as a bass player. There’s some country, some rap, some pop, some R&B, some jazz fusion, some instrumental, some CCM…almost a little bit of everything.
